This is another of the charming Keren Kayemet L’Yisrael children’s posters dating from around the 1960’s. A teacher seen in the window of the school house is welcoming (shalom) her students each of whom is cheerfully carrying a letter of the alphabet – in order – into school. The title on the poster is naturally alef bet. the poster is in very good condition with what appears to be some time staining.
