The various happy events in a Jewish household - brit milah and naming ceremony, bar/bar mitvah, wedding, attaching a mezuzah to a new home, etc. - prompt gift giving as a way of sharing in these happy moments. But finding the right gift often may not be easy. Quite frequently a customer at our gallery in the Columbus Jewish Community Center asks us what would be appropriate for one or another of these various Jewish celebrations.
