Milton Glaser designed this poster as an insert for the 1970, Poppy Records Dick Gregory‘s Frankenstein performance. Dick Gregory delivered a comedic sermon about racism in America, and the Frankenstein figure was an allegory for black life in the ghetto. The stars and stripes pants are a typical 1960’s symbol. The poster was folded for insertion into the record cover and the original fold lines can still be seen. Otherwise the condition is very good. We generally ship posters rolled into a tube, but this poster will go folded and flat.
