This large poster advertises the movie Driving Miss Daisy, a touching story about an older retired Jewish Southern woman who eventually befriends her black driver. The story deals with the lives of Jews living in the South, and the prejudices they express with regard to blacks as well as the prejudices they experience from non-Jewish whites. The image with Jessica Tandy and Morgan Freeman reflected in a car’s rear view mirror is itself a short preview of the movie.
The poster was originally distributed folded into eighths and the fold lines are still visible. In addition, there are small pinholes in the four corners and two tears on the lower edge, both without losses. We will ship folded and flat. (posters)
