In the ‘60s, El Al published a series of silk screen posters advertising the cities to which its planes flew. The posters were all designed by Dan Reisinger who based them on a common theme – “El Al”, in san serif, appears on a one-color background with one of the letters replaced by an iconic symbol for that city. For this Copenhagen poster a stylized deep pink mermaid replaces the first L of the airline’s name on a sea green background. Backed on linen, this poster is in very good condition with a few minor repaired tears along the borders and barely visible handling marks in the image.
