The body of this charming old, hand-made pin is made from brass with a set-in roughly fashioned polished stone. Seven dangles hang from the crescent. Each is made with a small coral piece and an intricately lace-work formed tear drop. There are also two loops on the top so that the piece can be worn as a pendant. The piece of folk jewelry is not dated, but is clearly old – our estimate is prior to mid 20th century.
