Casablanca is considered one of the greatest of English movies. This poster advertises the movie’s showing for a Hebrew speaking audience. While undated, the movie was released in the U.S. in 1943; so it seems probable that this poster is anywhere from the late forties into the fifties. That the text is entirely in Hebrew, except for the title, supports an early date. In addition to the names of the two stars and the title, the Hebrew text supplies the expected hype. The poster’s condition is very good with minor handling creases, especially visible on the edges, and a tiny fold in the lower right corner.
