The Jewish National Fund issued issued posters that celebrated the Jewish holidays; this one is for Chanukah. Superimposed on the block image of the Tower of David in Jerusalem are icons of the holiday: a Chanukah menorah, a dreidel, a pitcher for the oil, and a hand holding a flame that is the shamash. Extending the hand is an arm – in the form of the Hebrew word Chanukah. While undated, our estimate is mid 20th century. At the bottom are the phrases “holiday of lights” and “holiday of heroes”.
Aside from what appears to be a small stain on the lower left edge, the condition is excellent.
