A view of the spectacular Wadi Kelt, a river bed that plunges down from the Judean Hills to the Red Sea valley. This black & white photograph was taken by a photographer from the American Colony. A partial dry imprint of the company is on the lower right corner. On the verso is a copyright stamp of the American Colony group, a notation in ink, “Photo by Stephen A. Haboush & American Colony, Jerusalem”, and a faint stamp with the date March 5, 1933. However, the image itself could have been taken any time during the first 3 decades of the 20th C. The print is in excellent condition.
